New CEO at Afa Försäkring

After 11 years as CEO of Afa Försäkring, Anders Moberg has decided to retire. But just days after his retirement, he and his wife Catrin are off to Switzerland. There they will participate in a rally with Anders’ great passion – English sports cars. As a retiree, Anders Moberg will devote himself to his motorcycle, his English sports cars and his dog, among other things.

Afa Försäkring thanks Anders Moberg and wishes him a pleasant retirement. After 11 years as CEO of Afa Försäkring, Anders Moberg has decided to retire. The new CEO from July 1 will be Mathias Collén. He has a master’s degree in economics from the Gothenburg School of Economics, he is 44 years old and has worked for almost 20 years in the insurance industry.

Mathias Collén most recently comes from Länsförsäkringar Insurance, where he has held various roles since 2014, including Group CEO of Länsförsäkringar Ltd. Before that, he held several leadership roles at Skandia Insurance.

Afa Insurance plays an important role in the Swedish social security system and is a well-run company with a very good reputation in the market. I look forward to building on the strong work that has been done. It therefore feels very exciting, and it is with great respect that I now take on this assignment, says Mathas Collén.
